Having earned a B.A. in English from Fairfield University in Connecticut, Mike has also attained an M.A. in English/Education from Adelphi University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Education Administration from Hofstra University. Mike formerly served as the District Language Arts Coordinator for a local school district. He can now be found at West Hills year round. Assistants to the Director

In 1986 Rick Berkowitz began his West Hills career as a Group Leader in the Boys Division. It wasn't long before Rick's special talent earned him the position of Division Head for all boys groups. Today Rick wears many hats: he guides special events and staff evaluations, as well as supporting our specialist staff.

Rick's educational background is also varied. After earning a B.A. from SUNY Brockport, he completed his M.A. at St. John's University and his Certificate in Administration and Supervision from Queens College. He is presently serving as Principal in a local school district. Rick resides in Plainview with his wife and two children.

Marc Rosenberg is the Principal of a middle school in Queens when he isn't "doing his thing" at West Hills. Marc first came to West Hills in 1992 as the Lower Boys

Division Leader. Through the years he has assumed a number of other roles including Special Events Organizer and the "guru" of Carnival. Marc loves a challenge so whenever something out of the ordinary comes up he's the first one called upon to make sure that all goes according to plan.
